To
a Balinese man, wearing a Balinese Udheng is like keeping the sanctity of a
temple. Udheng or head band has deep meaning. To find the meaning of Udheng can
be seen from the shape. Wing on the right side of the higher mean all action on
the person wearing Udheng should always refer to the positive things, not the
bad things. Udheng wings on the left side means all the best and negative thngs
to be drowned, and cut off human thoughts and actions. Similarly, the man
wearing Udheng is like a man who always think positive, do a good things, and
they do by a clean mind. Udheng to pray to the temple usually white. White is a
symbol of a pure thoughts and clean. Wearing white Udheng just like a man who
have clean mind and don’t thinl the bad things. Thats why Udheng to go to
Temple always white.
